Nearly a decade ago, I entered the exterior remodeling industry specializing in roofing and siding, with a strong focus on insurance-related repairs. Early on, I recognized that as insurance processes became more complex, homeowners needed a contractor who truly understood installation standards, building codes, and how carriers evaluate construction scope. That realization pushed me to master manufacturer installation requirements, proper construction methods, and real-world application, not just sales.

By 2023, it became clear that many homeowners were being placed in difficult positions simply because critical construction details were missing from the evaluation process. As a licensed contractor, our role is to determine whether materials are compatible, repairable, or still available, and to document what is required to complete the work correctly. Desk adjusters often rely solely on the information provided to them, without ever seeing the property, which makes accurate field documentation essential.

I learned that facts matter. By supplying clear the homeowner measurements, photos, code references, and manufacturer specifications, I help ensure that the homeowner can send this information to their carrier therefore, receive the technical information needed to evaluate repairs properly. This approach reduces confusion, shortens timelines, and lowers stress for homeowners. To stay ahead, I continually travel for advanced training and complete ongoing coursework in building codes, manufacturer certification programs, HAGG, NRCA, and Building Education Institute as best practices. This commitment keeps my knowledge sharp and my customers protected from improper installation.
